I am a 2006 graduate of Western Kentucky University where I was initiated into Beta Delta Chapter. As a first generation college student in my family, I placed tremendous value on mentoring relationships. Membership in Phi U encouraged me to continue to strive for both academic excellence and also grow in my service to others. I was very active with my Phi U Chapter, received local scholarships, and was named Most Active New Initiate in 2004, serving as the 1st Vice-President in charge of directing the Professional Project. I was also honored with Service and Leadership Awards for the chapter. The Beta Delta Chapter won the National Professional Project Award for two consecutive years, and it was a wonderful experience! I also had the opportunity to attend Phi U Conclave as the collegiate delegate in 2006. Through Phi U membership, I have learned lifelong lessons, gained invaluable friendships and mentors, and acquired a heart for service. After an eight year career in product development, I am so excited for the opportunity to play a bigger role in helping others realize their potential by serving and supporting the Honor Society.
